Bai Mu Dan, also known as White Peony, is a type of white tea that originates from the Fujian province in China. It is made from the youngest leaves and unopened buds of the tea plant, and is less processed than other types of tea, resulting in a delicate and subtle flavor. The name “Bai Mu Dan” comes from the appearance of the tea leaves, which resemble white peony flowers.

This tea has a mild flavour profile with subtle floral notes and a hint of nuttiness. It is also rich in antioxidants and has several health benefits, including boosting the immune system and improving cardiovascular health.

BREWING SUGGESTION
1 tsp/cup ~ 80ºC ~ 3 min

Place a teaspoon of tea per 240 ml cup into an infuser. Add filtered hot water and allow to infuse for 3 minutes. Do not pour boiling water. Strain the tea and serve.
